The Barloworld Equipment Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) specialises in repairing Caterpillar components and comprises two facilities: CRC-Engines based at Isando near Johannesburg International Airport, and CRC-Drivetrain in Boksburg on the East Rand.
The capabilities and contamination control standards of the CRC are better than world class and the CRC is Caterpillar certified, enabling it to offer extended rebuild warranties, and ISO 9000/2000 certified.
A REMAN programme enables the CRC to provide an up-front quotation for a hydraulics, transmission or engine repair and supply an immediate off-the-shelf replacement instead of delaying production while the customer’s component is repaired.
