HIV management

Barloworld Equipment set new standards for South African business in the fight against HIV infection and AIDS with record responses at its facilities around southern Africa for prevalence testing. More than 100 peer educators across the company have been trained and taken responsibility for setting the foundations of a successful and consistent HIV management programme.

Barloworld has always been a career company and that means providing staff with a lifestyle, not just a job. The company’s commitment to a long term strategy in HIV management, together with comprehensive counselling and medical treatment, contributes to this.
